SWP 51A/B Field Practicum

The second practicum emphasizes students learning in the field about themselves and social work practice through: developing critical self reflexivity in working with people and transformative activities; engaging in anti-oppressive support and change processes; understanding links between policy, research and practice and how these are influenced by social, economic, political and organizational contexts; understanding professional roles and values and ethics of social work. Students are in field placement three days a week for two semesters. Lab: 11 hrs.
