Clinical psychology concerns the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals who experience social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health problems. Topics covered include the history of clinical psychology, professional and ethical issues, assessment and diagnosis of mental health problems, modalities of treatment (e.g., individual, group, family), therapeutic orientations and their methods and techniques, and current issues.
