NSE 31A/B Community Health Nursing

This course will provide an overview of community health nursing in Canada. Emphasis will be placed on examination of the community health nurse’s role in relation to individuals, families, groups, and communities, including an analysis of the impact of socioeconomic factors, developmental level, gender and culture on health. Epidemiology, health promotion, program planning and evaluation will be integral components of the course. Lect: 3 hrs.
