NUR 600 Epidemiology: Major Health Problems

In this course students will examine the principles and methods of epidemiology and apply these to selected populations. Major health problems across the lifespan and recommended intervention strategies will be explored from a primary, secondary and tertiary perspective. How the nurse applies knowledge of epidemiology, when working with individuals, families and communities, will be examined.
