This course critically examines sustainable and responsible tourism development practices at both the micro and macro levels of the industry. Case study analysis is an integral component of the course. A major focus will be on benefits and impacts associated with tourism development, as well as the strategies for maximizing benefits and minimizing adverse effects. Lect: 3 hrs.
