HST 551 Problems in 20th-Century Western Europe

This course avoids the survey approach by enabling students to concentrate on certain specific aspects of 20th-century Western European history. Each semester explores a different set of topics, which will be examined in some depth, taking into account social, political, economic, and geographical ramifications.
