For centuries, the West viewed Asia as a land of myth and mystery. Only now is the West beginning to understand Asia. Given today’s increasingly global business and culture, defining Asia is an absolute necessity. This course will introduce Asia and the roles that Asian nations have played in international relations, from first contact with the West to today.
