Museum and heritage management embraces a wide range of complex and interrelated activities such as: governance, funding, preventative maintenance, conservation, programming, marketing, visitor services, and security, along with legal and regulatory issues. This course focuses on the actions necessary for the preservation and interpretation of heritage resources, and considers related concerns associated with protecting historical resources of public interest that exist outside of the immediate control of heritage institutions.
