HIS 615 Film, Television, and 20th C History

No previous century has been as thoroughly documented as the last one. Film has left us vivid images of its leading personalities, its struggles, and its changing social attitudes. This course will present a reconstruction of the 20th century through the medium of film. Clips will be shown to illustrate selected aspects of war, revolution, colonialism, and social change.
