This placement enhances the student’s skills in a specialized area of child and youth care practice not previously experienced. Students are expected to identify a mentor and choose a placement based on their future career interests. Students are required to complete 200 hours of direct client contact hours and submit a portfolio documenting learning. Lab: 3 hrs.
