BDC 980 Art Direction

The fabrication of reality for the screen is up to the Art Director, who created the on-screen environment that meets the director’s aesthetic while being aware of the needs of the camera and lighting, and completes the whole by being responsible for all of a production’s graphical elements. This course introduces students to both the theory and practice of art direction through guided exercises and work on student productions. Lab: 3 hrs.
