BDC 917 Public Relations

Broadcasters work in a regulated environment and ultimately rely on public support. Much broadcast content is generated by public relations sources. This course provides a broad understanding of Public Relations concepts and principles and their application in today’s complex media world. Students explore the significance of current events and apply practical learning through the development of a launch campaign for a television program.
