PSY 713 Psychology of Perception

The focus of this course is the processing of information through the five senses. The course begins with historical and methodological considerations and proceeds with a study of various visual phenomena, such as perception of patterns, colour, depth, motion and illusions. The emphasis is on presenting the latest findings and the theories, models and systems created to understand them. PSY 713 is not available for credit to students who choose PSY 714, PSY 514.
