HTI 746 Destination Management Systems

Hospitality and Tourism destinations promote themselves by developing dynamic inviting websites. Destination management strategies must embrace ICT (Information Communication Technologies). By critically examining different Destination Management Systems, students will learn what makes a successful site now that the Internet is a major distribution tool. Students will be guided to use the Internet to compare different Destination websites and they will learn how Search Engine Optimization can increase the traffic to their website. Lect: 3 hrs.
