HIS 696 The History of Terrorism

Terrorism is a contentious and subjective term that has been part of the international system since ancient times. This course offers an historical overview of terrorism and its effect on the global order by focusing on the origins, structure, and dynamics of terrorism as an instrument of both state and non-state actors, plus corresponding counter-terrorism strategies.
