This course is a follow up to CPS 530. In it, students will learn advanced techniques for designing and building the active web pages. Topics include: JavaScript and DOM, XML and XSLT, CGI programming using PHP, database connectivity and web security, and Java servlets and JSP. At the end of this course, students will have designed and implemented a database application with a commercial grade web interface. (2 hr. Lab every other week). Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 1 hr.
