SWP 900 Race and Ethnicity

This course examines current debates around the concepts of race and ethnicity in Canada. The historical and contemporary social context of race and ethnicity will be examined with respect to interrelated discourses of gender, class, sexual orientation, nation, and colonialism. Anti-oppression and anti-racism responses will be explored. Lect: 3 hrs.
