Building on SWP 302, this course focuses on approaches and tools for social action and social change, moving students from a theoretical knowledge of social policies to a practical, action-oriented focus on making social claims visible and building program capacity. It examines issues of governance, funding structures, voices, exclusionary processes, and experiences with the social welfare system.
