SWP 335 Power, Resistance and Change

Theories of power and oppression, understandings of intersectionality, forms of resistance, and processes of social change will be examined in the course. Identified social issues and problems will be related to social work theory and practice. The course emphasizes skills of critical thinking, self-reflection, and dialogue and their relationship to social change processes. Lect: 3 hrs.
