SOC 105 Introduction to Sociology

This course provides an introduction to some of the major issues in the discipline of sociology, for students specializing in sociology or enrolled in the Social Science platform. Topics include: research methods and problems; the major theoretical debates of classical sociology; the evolution of human societies; culture and socialization; and the structure of Canadian society.
