This course will focus on more advanced and specialized topics and current transportation issues. It will examine urban transportation policies in more detail. The land use/transportation systems relationship, methods used for improving the efficiency of transportation systems and alternative choices for metropolitan transportation systems will also be covered. Experiences from other countries (Europe, the United States and the developing countries) will be incorporated.
