PLE 515 Environmental Planning

This course builds on basic concepts of ecology and environmental planning methods to develop ways that ecological concepts can be used to guide urban and resource-related development. The course acquaints students with the basic literature on environmental planning including theory, analytic methods, planning approaches and current cases. It focuses on methods that are the bases of environmentally sound urban and regional plans. Lect: 3 hrs. Prerequisite: PLG 420 or in UP002 or UP003 Course Weight: 1.00 Billing Units: 1
