PHL 921 Intellectual Property and Technology

This course examines the multifaceted aspects of developments in intellectual property policy. Students will explore the diverse ethical norms, social practices, and legal doctrines which are used to both justify and to critique existing policies. The course will introduce students to the basic types of intellectual property rights – copyright, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
