This course is designed to provide students with direct experience in the operation of optical devices that find widespread use in the technology sector. Emphasis is placed on geometric optics, laser systems, image formation, fiberoptics, diffraction and interference. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 1.5 hrs.
