This course includes a clinical placement under the supervision of a midwife preceptor and tutorials focused on common complications, situations which involve consultation with other care providers, and on the development of clinical decision-making skills and clinical judgement. The students further develop their knowledge and skills relating to preconception, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and newborn care. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 12 hrs.
