MTH 816 Cryptography

This course will consider the mathematics of modern cryptographic schemes, including commonly used public and private key systems. The main uses; authentication, validation and encryption will be discussed. System vulnerabilities will also be considered. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 1 hr.
