MPF 207 Film Tools and Applications II

This is a lecture and lab course on the foundations of sound recording and editing, as well as the application of sound in film. The course includes techniques of sound editing and mixing; photographic darkroom; and digital applications for image control and adjustment. Transfer from analogue to digital technology is also introduced. (Formerly the second half of MPF17A/B). Lab: 3 hrs.
