MPF 107 Film Tools and Applications I

This lecture and lab class introduces students to the concepts, tools, applications and foundations of filmmaking, including photographic imaging, exposure, cinematography, lab processes, lighting, film editing, and an introduction to digital editing. This course focuses on the visual aspects of silent film production. (Formerly the first half of MPF17A/B). Lab: 3 hrs. Corequisite: MPF106 Course Weight: 1.00 Billing Units: 1
