A second course in Machine Design, this course will emphasize the art and skill of actual design process. A number of small to medium size projects will be undertaken on an individual basis or as small group efforts. Reports submitted, must include all pertinent design information, including manufacturing, assembly. Strength and control considerations, as well as component deformation, vibrations, system operations and costs. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 1 hr.
