LAW 602 White Collar and Cyber Crime

This course examines criminal and regulatory offences committed by corporations and executives that are typically described as “white collar crime” as well as criminal and regulatory offences committed online and typically described as “cyber crime”. The relevant portions of the Criminal Code and other statutes such as the Competition Act and Canada’s Anti-Spam legislation are discussed in light of selected cases and regulatory decisions.
