ITM 277 Intro to Information Technology and Society

This course provides a broad introduction to the fundamentals of IT and its impact on and interrelationship with society. Through a combination of lectures, discussion based tutorials, and a research essay, students will emerge with valuable knowledge about the importance of IT in society and its impact on their personal and professional lives. Through self-paced learning, students will gain skills using MS Word and Excel applications which are increasingly important for academic and career success.
