IND 708 Information Systems

First order logic, knowledge representation, structured analysis and design technique (SADT), database systems from a systems analyst perspective will give the students some foundations in design and analysis of information systems (IS). Management principles in the framework of data collection and implementation of IS will be discussed. Students should have used some spreadsheet software and at least have done some programming in C or Pascal. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 1 hr.
