IND 600 Systems Modeling and Simulation

Simulation models of systems in terms of procedural behaviours, both discrete and continuous, deterministic and stochastic, with an emphasis on stochastic, dynamic simulation models will be studied. These include formulating and implementing simulation models, verification and validation of models, analysis of input and output data, statistical techniques for comparing alternative systems. Computer simulation languages and simulators will be introduced. Lect: 3 hrs./Lab: 2 hrs.
