Offered in conjunction with HSM 419. The first pre-fieldwork seminar orients students to the process of experimental learning. Students and faculty supervisors establish learning contracts detailing the terms and conditions of fieldwork placements. Mid and final seminars provide an opportunity for students to apply theory and collectively share their experiences. Learning outcomes include an applied understanding of the management cycle, the challenges for managers and enhanced research and evaluation skills. This is a graded course. Lect: 3 hrs.
