GRA 324 Printing Processes III

The emphasis in this course is on print quality and how the components of a printing press and the materials used on press have an influence. Through instrumentation tests and press run demonstrations theses influences will be studied. Process analysis and problem solving skills in regards to sheetfed-offset lithography are gained. Colour theory, objective measurement of colour and the major colour spaces are studied. Lect: 2 hrs./Lab: 1.5 hrs. Prerequisite: GRA 204 Course Weight: 1.00 Billing Units: 1
