GEO 803 Recreation and Tourism Analysis

The growing importance of the recreation and tourism system in today’s society has generated the potential for environmental impacts and development opportunities. This professionally related course examines the system and its role in the economy. Particular emphasis will be placed on planning, managing and developing recreation and tourism resources, and on identifying, measuring and evaluating impacts. Lect: 3 hrs.
