This is a course in specialized studio and location lighting for photographers. Through practical projects students will develop skills related to lighting as practised at a professional level. Students will be required to further their understanding of lighting equipment and techniques as well develop strong problem solving skills that will enable them to work with confidence in both the studio and location environment. The course is designed to allow students to advance their understanding of both the technical and aesthetic issues surrounding lighting as a crucial element in photographic practice. Lab: 3 hrs.
