EUS 450 Responses to Climate Change

This course explores the concepts of climate change, environmental sustainability, and sustainable development from an interdisciplinary perspective. It places emphasis on mitigation and adaptation strategies and deals explicitly with their interactions in response to climate change. The focus is on urban areas and their potential for mitigation of impacts through strategies that reduce greenhouse emissions and as locus for adaptation to global change. Lect: 3 hrs.
