This course will investigate environmental health concerns and contemporary technologies associated with waste recovery, treatment, and disposal. This will include recovery from aqueous and dry waste streams, biological, physical and chemical treatments, thermal destruction and land disposal. Various sectoral studies will also be undertaken.
