CVL 353 Municipal Planning and Engineering

The function and structure of the Planning Act and other statutes which affect land use changes. Planning instruments and their interpretation: official and secondary plans, zoning by-laws, site plan controls, minor variances, land division by consent and by plan of subdivision. The subdivision design process. Integration of stormwater management plans, wetlands and fisheries policies and other environmental controls.
