Fluidization phenomenon and its industrial relevance; determination of involved variables; intervals and their effect; two-phase and three-phase fluid beds; entrainment, elutriation and TDH; pneumatic transport; gas-solid separators; chemical reactors; combustion in fluid beds; circulating and pressurized fluid beds; heat and mass transfer in fluidized beds; design of fluidized bed processes and their components.
