This course emphasizes the biological synthesis of commercial products, the genetic engineering of plants and animals. Topics will also include DNA fingerprinting analysis in forensics and diagnostics and production of recombinant vaccines. (BLG 407 is equivalent to BLG 788 plus BLG 888). Lect: 3 hrs.
