BLG 707 Entomology

A lecture course designed to introduce insect structure, physiology, biochemistry, development, systematics, evolution and ecology. The course stresses interrelationships amongst diverse ecological communities and integrated pest control including life-histories and insect-plant relations. Interactions with the agricultural, forestry, and soil biomes will be examined. Lect: 3 hrs. Prerequisites: BLG 143 and BLG 144 and BLG 316 Course Weight: 1.00 Billing Units: 1
