BDC 402 Business Practices in Creative Media

This course reviews traditional and evolving business practices within various creative media industries. Focus will be placed on understanding operational aspects and how each sector functions. From a business perspective, the course will review the structure of these industries as well as specific-sector and common cross-sector issues. The impact of emerging technologies, regulations, cultural versus economic priorities, trends, business challenges and opportunities in the digital age will also be addressed. Lect: 2 hrs.
