Principles. This course addresses the means by which the principles of sustainability can be addressed in architectural design. The importance of the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability is presented and students become familiar with the process of implementation of environmentally conscious design. Various strategies to reduce the environmental impact of construction are discussed as are the means of measuring their success. Lect: 3 hrs.
